Anushka delays Alex?

Looks like Anushka���s busy schedule has kept Karthi waiting. The actress, who is currently in Georgia for Irandaam Ulagam, will not be back in the country until the third week of August. This has put the unit of Alex Pandian in a tight spot, as they are planning to release the film in October.
A source in the know says, ���Anushka left for Georgia in the later half of June to shoot for Irandaam Ulagam, and was supposed to be back by the end of that month.But, with difficult climatic conditions, the schedule had to be extended. Now, it���s over a month since the team has been stationed in Georgia, and from the looks of it, they will take one more month to wrap up. This has delayed Alex Pandian, for which she was to start work this month. Now that the makers have planned to release the film in October, the unit is concerned with the delay in her return.���
While Anushka couldn���t be reached for comment, her spokesperson tells us that there���s been no delay from her side, and things are proceeding as per plan.
The spokesperson says, ���Since major portions of the film is set abroad, Selvaraghavan wanted bulk dates from Anushka. So, we distributed dates according to requirements between Vijay���s Thaandavam, Suraaj���s Alex Pandian and Koratala Siva���s Vaaradhi. While she has wrapped up Vikram���s film, a few scenes are left to be shot in the Prabhas flick. But, there were hiccups in Alex Pandian���s shooting schedule, first because of the strike in the industry and then, because of the case that Ameer had filed against the producers.���
Anushka will start shooting for Alex Pandian post August 15.
