Archana Kalpathi thanks TN govt for Bigil special shows

The state government had not given permission initially, to screen special shows for both Vijay's 'Bigil' and Karthi's 'Kaithi', scheduled to be released for Diwali. Minister of Information and Publicity Kadambur Raju had earlier clarified that the early morning special shows of 'Bigil' will be cancelled and has even ordered theatre owners to refund the ticket amount to the viewers.But at the last moment the higher authorities have relented and given a green signal to 'Bigil'.

The much awaited Vijay's 'Bigil' directed by Atlee hit the screens today with early morning shows and the fans have been happy about it. Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment has shared the news on Twitter writing "A big thank you to our honorable CM and the Government of TamilNadu for allowing special shows for this Diwali Weekend".

‘Bigil’ that released today on October 25 and features Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Anandraj, Daniel Balaji, Kathir and others in prominent roles. The film is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment. Vijay’s ‘Bigil’ clashes with Karthi's ‘Kaithi’ at the box office.
