Kangana Ranaut has not been approached for Aadai remake.
The buzz for the last few days has been that Mukesh Bhatt, one of the veteran producers in B-Town, has acquired the remake rights of Amala Paul starrer 'Aadai' directed by Rathnakumar. It was also reported that Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy shooting for Jayalalithaa’s biopic directed by AL Vijay, will be seen in Amala’s role in the Hindi version. However, actor and producer Arun Pandian has made it official that his A&P groups owns the remake rights of the movie, and that Kangana Ranaut has not been approached for Aadai remake.Kangana's team has also denied all the reports and stated that the news is totally untrue with regards to the actress' involvement with the said project.

Amala Paul-starrer Aadai was one film which had good expectations surrounding it because of its engaging trailer and bold attempt from the actress. The project raised many eyebrows from the day its first look was revealed. The movie, though opened to mixed reviews, was applauded unanimously for the actress’s performance.
