Arun Vijay-Karthik Naren's 'Mafia' to commence on July 6

We had earlier reported that Arun Vijay is also set to begin work on his film with young director Karthik Naren soon. The film titled 'Mafia' has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the leading lady while Prasanna is the chief antagonist. The latest is that the film is all set to commence on July 6 and an official announcement is expected to be made soon.
The film is bankrolled by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.The pre-production work is almost over and the shoot of the film is expected to commence on July 6th.
Meanwhile, actor Arun Vijay was busy getting trained in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) for his next film 'Boxer' written and directed by Vivek. The film's pooja happened recently, but looks like the shooting is yet to commence. Director Karthick Naren has long-delayed Naragasooran, starring Arvind Swami, Shriya Saran, Sundeep Kishan and Indrajith Sukumaran ready for release. He also has his third directorial, Naadaga Medai, touted to be a feel-good-lighthearted comedy.
