Asvin Raja signs dad Swaminathan's film

It looks like actor Asvin Raja, who impressed audiences with his role as Pal Pandi, sleeping through his tuition classes in Boss Engira Baskaran, is on a signing spree.
In the last few days, he has signed two projects - Veyilodu Vilayadu and Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (MUK). 'I play a friend of Mahesh (of Angadi Theru fame) in Veyilodu Vilayadu, being directed by Ramkumar.My character brings about the turning point in the film. I am joining hands with my father, producer Swaminathan, for the first time in the film. The two of us will be providing comic relief,' he reveals.
Asvin is happy he got to work with actor Santhanam for the third time in MUK. 'After
BEB and Vandhaan Vendraan, I'll be acting with Santhanam again in this film. It's a dream-come-true. Santhanam is working in Kalla Sirippazhaga with Shakkthi, produced by my father. During a conversation, he said, 'It's nice to see a father and son working together in a film. It should be fun to see you both onscreen'. I'm looking forward to seeing how our combo works,' he signs off.
