'Beast' movie review and box office collection: Vijay's 'Beast' hits 100 crores in a quickest time to set a record
Nelson Dilipkumar's action-thriller 'Beast' was released worldwide on April 13. The film is receiving mixed reviews. The film is expected to make a box office collection of over Rs 100 crore the first weekend after its release in theatres yesterday. Reports suggest that Vijay-Pooja Hegde starrer inched towards record-breaking numbers on day 1 of box office collection.

'Beast' a blockbuster hit; movie makers make official announcement
‘Beast’ made a record opening on day 1 with Rs 27 crore as its box office collection. It is expected that the movie will soon be collecting over Rs 100 crore in box office within the first weekend. The movie makers officially made a post yesterday that the film had smashed all the previous opening records. Taking to Twitter, Chief Operating Officer of Sun Pictures wrote, “The Mighty #Beast takes a Humongous Opening, smashing all previous records. Unbelievable craze and collections Worldwide. Thank you one and all.”

Superstar Vijay's latest offering 'Beast' was always slated to be a record-crushing release and the film seems to have proven just that on its Day 1. The film opened to packed cinema halls all across Tamil Nadu and other parts of South India with the Hindi version, titled 'Raw', too coming into the account. As per the latest box office figures, 'Beast' is well on course to break 'Valimai' for the highest Day #1 box office collection in Tamil Nadu.
