Bigg Boss Tharshan’s film courts controversy

has found himself in the midst of a controversy, and this has nothing to do with his stint inside the reality show house! A film that he acted in before entering the Bigg Boss House shares its title with another film, and that has created tension among the two movie teams.

Giving us a lowdown on what happened, a source in the know says, “Much before he went on to become part of Bigg Boss,

Tharshan

had acted in a film that was directed by Radhakrishnan G. The film, which had music by Sam CS, co-starred his rumoured girlfriend, Sanam Shetty. The film was not titled at that point, and there was no update on its production stage. At that point, filmmaker Karthikeyan Jagadish started his film, titled

Maggy

, and the film has been censored as well. And now, the makers of Tharshan’s film announced that their film has been titled

Magie

as well. This has created confusion because though the spelling is different in English, the film’s being pronounced the same.”

It’s unclear if makers of either of the film will be changing their title now.
