‘Bigil’ box office: Thalapathy Vijay’s sports drama collects 85 crores in Tamil Nadu!

Vijay's Diwali release 'Bigil' is off to a rocking start at the box office. The highly anticipated film set the cash registers ringing out loud from the first day itself. The craze for Vijay in Tamil Nadu is huge and ‘Bigil’ has raked in Rs 85 crores in just five days at the box office. The film is going strong and by the end of its first week, 'Bigil' is expected to cross Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.‘Bigil’ has emerged as a huge money spinner for theater owners and distributors.
Interestingly, 'Bigil' has also secured the top position among the Diwali releases across the country beating Bollywood films like ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Made in China’ and ‘Saand Ki Anankh’. Karthi's 'Kaithi', which released alongside Vijay's 'Bigil', holds the second position at the box office in Tamil Nadu.
