'Biriyani' treat from Sep 6

Venkat Prabhu directed Biriyani starring Karthi and Hansika is all set to hit the screens on September 6, for the Vinayaka Chathurthi festival weekend. Biriyani is said to be a thriller comedy entertainer which has star cast apart from the main lead which includes Premgi, Mandy Thakkar, Sam Anderson, Prasanna, Sneha, Neethu Chandra, Vaibhav Reddy, Mysskin, Ramki, Nithin Sathya and Sampath.
While the movie was expected to release for Eid, looks like the makers don't want to clash with Vijay starrer 'Thalaivaa' which is to hit the screens on August 9. Director Venkat Prabhu is planning a grand audio launch for Biriyani. Produced by Studio Green, Biriyani happens to be Yuvan's 100th musical and DOP Sakthi Saravanan, another regular of Venkat Prabhu is working on this flick.
Director Venkat Prabhu has been cooking the 'Biriyani' for quite sometime adding new ingrediants every now and then during the shooting hoping to make it tastier. One will have to wait for the 'Biriyani' to be served to say it's tasty or not!
