Dhanush plays a good samaritan

In a noble gesture, actor Dhanush has donated Rs 50,000 to 125 struggling agricultural families. The actor distributed the amount at Sankarapuram, which also happens to be Dhanush’s mother’s home town. The actor’s team had also meticulously searched for few deserving families and Dhanush went to Sankarapuram to hand over the amount.We hear that the actor was deeply moved by journalist Rajiv Gandhi’s short film, ‘Kolaigal Vizhuntha Nilam’, which revolves around the plight of farmers and why they commit suicide.The actor, in the meantime, is gearing up for his film, Velai Illa Pattadhari 2.
