Dhanush to revive director Elan's shelved film Star?

Actor Harish Kalyan's film 'Star' with director Elan, was one the films that garnered huge attention after the first look posters were released. While it was expected that the trio of Harish Kalyan, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Elan would give a hit film, we had reported earlier last month that the film seems to have been shelved. Now, the latest buzz is that, actor Dhanush could be roped into the project.
Reports are that the producer of the film backed out due to financial crisis, and all new producers willing to take the project forward have demanded for a bigger star. While it is being reported that talks are on with Dhanush for the project, we will have to wait for an official announcement since the star actor has a huge line up of film already.
Earlier in December last year, Harish Kalyan was seen emulating 'Thalapathi' Rajinikanth, 'Sigappu Rojakkal' Kamal Haasan and 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', which piqued the interest of the fans. The film was said to be a contemporary subject set in Chennai. Will Dhanush be replacing Harish Kalyan in the film and it would interesting to see Dhanush in similar posters or will it be a new film with director Elan?
