Vidharth and
Vani Bhojan are coming together for the upcoming film 'Anjaamai' directed by debutant SP Subburam, an associate of Mohan Raja and Lingusamy. The makers recently launched the title of the film and it has now been certified U by the censor board.
Director Subburam, in a media interaction in Chennai said that the film is about the malpractices that happen in the education field.
He stressed that the movie will focus on how the
NEET (medical exam) affects the students. Subburam said that education has become commercialised now and students end up toiling for decades and said that he has translated these issues into a film.
The Indian Express reports stated that the film elaborates how the society wants and needs to enforce the people with its rules and conditions. The film will focus on a story of how the public suffers because of a particular decision they made.
The film features Viddharth, Vani Bhojan,
Rahman, Krithik Mohan, Ramar among others and the music for it is composed by Raghav Prasad. The film is completing a few post-production work and is scheduled for a release in theatres this June.
