Director writes to CM for tax exemption

Director Seenuramasamy is alleging that his upcoming film Neerparavai has been denied tax exemption only because it is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. He has now written to Chief Minister J Jayalalaithaa requesting her to look into the matter.
���My film has already been granted the ���U��� certificate by the censor board, which is one of the main eligibility criteria for tax exemption.But, the members who are part of the tax exemption committee have rejected the film saying the film has scenes involving characters smoking and vulgar language despite appreciating me in person for coming up with a good film,��� he claims, ���I have only captured the hardships faced by fisherman in Tamil Nadu in the film, which also doesn���t have excessive violence or obscenity.���
