The theater owners had yesterday refused to release Simbu's 'Eeswaran' after the makers planned to release the film in OTT available overseas on January 14. However the issue was sorted out, and the makers have dropped their decision. Now, Simbu's father and famous star T Rajendar claims that few attempts to stop 'Eeswaran' release were made in order to take revenge.
T Rajendar then added that these steps have been done by few filmmakers because he was the opponent to the winning party in the recently held Tamil Film Producers Council.
T Rajendar got emotional while raising his voice in supporting his son Simbu and broke into tears. However, Simbu's 'Eeswaran' has got a decent number of screens all over, and the film is locked to release on January 14th.
Susienthiran 'Eeswaran' features Simbu and Niddhi Agerwal in the lead roles, and the actor will be seen in a rural drama after a long time. The film also has Bharathiraja, Nandita Swetha, Bala Saravanan, and others, while the music is scored by Thaman.
