Gautham Menon reveals the story of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa 2', will Simbu accept?

Gautham Menon's directorial 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa' was released ten years ago, and the film starring Simbu and Trisha in the lead roles was a blockbuster hit at the box office. The director had made the screenplay so interesting that the film turned out to be one of the best romantic films in Tamil. Gautham Menon who celebrated his 47th birthday on Tuesday (February 25), had a chat session with his fans yesterday on his Instagram page.On the chat, the director answered a fan's question about his plans for directing 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa 2'.
Gautham Menon said that he had already started the works on 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa 2', and that he was in discussion with his team for it. He further revealed that the story of the film is based on what Karthik (Simbu) will do for the next 10 years. The director then added that he is ready to start the film if Simbu accepts his story and feels that only Simbu can play the role since the story is based on his character Karthik.
Meanwhile, Gautham Menon is filming for his upcoming film 'Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha', which stars Varun and debutant Rahei in lead roles. Also, the first single track from the film 'Hey Love' is scheduled to be released on February 29.
