Happy birthday Yuvan Shankar Raja

One of the biggest music composers in Tamil, Yuvan Shankar Raja, is celebrating his birthday today. Celebrities in Kollywood are wishing him through social networking websites. The younger son of maestro Ilayaraja has touched a milestone this year, by reaching the 100th film mark with his cousin Venkat Prabhu directed Biriyani.
The music director entered the film industry in the year 1997 by scoring the tunes for the film Aravindhan and since then has a number of chartbusters to his credit.As Yuvan has produced a lot of new sounds, his music is a big hit with youngsters. Yuvan is particularly known for his use of western music elements in his pieces and often credited with having introduced Hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry.
Thanga Meengal directed by Ram hit the screens yesterday and Yuvan���s BGM is one of the major pluses of the film. Some of Yuvan���s best works till date are 7G Rainbow Colony, Manmadhan, Raam, Sandakozhi, Billa, Goa, and Mankatha. His latest album Biriyani is topping the charts now proving that Yuvan is one of the best in Kollywood today.
