Harish Kalyan & Priya Bhavani Shankar's Oh Manapenne to have a direct OTT release

After the success of 'Dharala Prabhu' in theatres last year and 'Kasada Thapara' on OTT platform this year, actor Harish Kalyan is gearing for his next release. There has been a buzz around this film titled 'Oh Manapenne', ever since it was announced that Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar will pairing for the first time. Now, the latest is that the makers haave opted for a director OTT release.
The film, a remake of the Telugu film Pelli Choopulu, is directed by debutant Kaarthikk Sundar, an associate of AL Vijay.Vishal Chandrasekar is composing the music for the film. Produced by A Studios and A Havish Productions, 'Oh Manapenne' has cinematography by Krishnan Vasant, with dialogues by Deepak Sundar Rajan and editing by Kripikaran.

Looks like the makers have opted for a safer bet during these tough times despite the theatres being open over a month now. Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be playing the roles played by Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in 'Pelli Choopulu', directed by Tharun Bhascker. The film also has Abishek Kumar as Vishnu, Anbuthasan and Siddhanth in supporting roles.
