Tamil superstar Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Idli Kadai'. He recently shared some hilarious childhood memories with his elder brother, ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan. The 'Kuberaa' actor recalled how Selvaraghavan always found ways to outsmart him, whether on the cricket field or at home.

Dhanush always had to bowl

As per an IANS report, Dhanush revealed how, while playing cricket matches, he would always end up bowling and his brother would unfairly just bat "He was elder to me by eight years and therefore, he would appear huge and I would appear to be small in front of him. He would call me to play cricket. By hook or crook, he would win the toss and elect to bat first," he said.Dhanush went on to share that the difference in their age was such that he was never able to get him out easily and had to bowl for three to three and a half hours. Even if he got him out, his brother would never bowl to him.

Money heist at home

As if that wasn’t enough, the 'Sir' actor also recalled another mischievous habit of his elder brother. He mentioned how his brother would steal his money, which he would save after collecting little by little. "We had ten paise, 20 paise, 25 paise, and 50 paise. I would collect all that in the hope of buying something to eat. Just when the money saved reaches four or five Rupees, he would come and steal it.
Therefore, he was the naughtier of the two,” Dhanush revealed.Dhanush was last seen in 'Kuberaa' co-starring with Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna. Meanwhile, 'Idli Kadai', directed by Dhanush himself, will feature him alongside Nithya Menen, with Arun Vijay playing the antagonist and Shalini Pandey in a key role. It will arrive in theatres on October 1.
