Honouring women for their achievements

JFW, one of south India���s popular women���s magazines, is all set to host the 7th edition of its Women Achievers��� Awards on October 3, 2014 at the Sir Mutha Venkata Subbarao Hall in Chennai. Every year, the awards strives to honour and laud those who have achieved milestones in their respective fields. This year, the distinguished awardees include Saranya Ponvannan, Sowcar Janaki, Lakshmi Menon, Dipika Pallikal, Joshna Chinappa, PV Sindhu, Priya Ravichander, Priyadarshini Govind, Manju Latha Kalanidhi and Mariazeena Johnson.
The event���s entertainment will witness scintillating performances by Vishaka Singh, Nanditha, Sanchita Shetty and Poorna. A musical tribute will be made by Alaap, Rahul Nambiar, Devan and band.
The magazine began its journey in 2007 and hosted its first awards in 2008. They have constantly striven to portray the changing psyche of south Indian women. This year, the 7th JFW Women Achievers Awards is going to be one that���s inspiring, stimulating and awakening. The event will be telecast on Sun TV.
