Human beings are the virus, indeed: Ashwin

Ashwin Kakumanu has two flicks, Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kathai and Thollaikatchi, up for release. On Monday, the actor took to Twitter to react harshly to a popular video which did the rounds on the social media platform. The 15-second video features a monkey that rides a tiny motor cycle through a small lane and tries to kidnap a toddler. Quite enraged by seeing the video, he went on to say that human beings are nothing but virus.Ashwin posted, “What sort of people are these? Training a monkey to attack a child and putting a rope on the monkey so that they can kidnap the child... Human beings are the Virus indeed.”

The video was posted by Rex Everett Chapman, retired US professional basketball player, who played for four National Basketball Association teams through his 12-year career in the league. The video, which clocked 5M views on Twitter, was retweeted by more than 20K Twitter users and received more than 60K likes. Many people came up with interesting theories and comments in the comment section, and narrated similar incidents which happened to them.
