When
Prasanna and
Bobby Simha worked together in
Susi Ganesan’s Thiruttu Payale 2, little did they know that they will become friends. “When I was told that I would be playing a character with negative shades for this project, I was pretty kicked. But it also meant that I would be acting alongside Simha, who had done a film like Jigarthanda and won a National Award for the same. More than seeing this as a competition, I found it motivating to have a good performer acting with me, as eventually, it will only enhance my performance. So, working with him was a delight,” says Prasanna.
The actor says that he finds Simha to be very honest. He says, “I like that attitude in him. He is not someone who beats around the bush to convey what he thinks. I usually take time to open up. Even if I do, it is only with a close circle of friends. But Simha is very honest. In fact, I found an amazing friend in him.” Incidentally, when Simha spoke to us about working with Prasanna, he said the same thing. Too much bromance, we think!
