We had told you that Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani, who will be making her debut in the Tamil film industry with Arun Vijay’s Boxer, will also be playing the lead in another Tamil film that’s headlined by Ramar. Now, the actress tells us that she has started shooting for the film, which is being directed by Maniram, in Chennai.
“I am super excited to be making my Tamil debut, and even more excited that I’ve signed my second film in the language soon after,” begins the actress, “In Maniram’s project, I play a Tamil Brahmin girl, who is full of energy.

She hails from a middle-class background. It’s a fantasy comedy and doesn’t follow the typical hero-heroine route. All the characters in the film are author-backed and have a lot of substance. I’m sure the audiences will have a good time watching this one.”
Ask Sanjjanaa if she is learning Tamil, and she says, “Enaku Tamil nallave theriyum. I can speak the language and it is only a matter of time I pick up the TamBram slang for my role. I hope to dub for myself in this film. Let’s see what the director says.”
The shoot of this yet-to-be-titled film will go on in Chennai for the next 20 days. “We will be shooting in and around the city,” says Sanjjanaa, adding, “The shoot of Vivek’s Boxer is likely to begin by December. I am looking forward to my journey in Tamil cinema.”
