Director Cibi Chakravarthy, who was reportedly said to work with Rajinikanth for his next film, is now all set to team up with actor Nani for his second film. According to reports, the initial stage of discussion for the movie is underway, and if everything goes well, Nani's 31st film will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. The movie is said to be an action comedy. An official confirmation regarding the new film is awaited.
Director Cibi Chakravarthy made his directorial debut with Sivakarthikeyan's 'Don', and the first film by the director became a blockbuster by making Rs 100 crore at the box office. He was said to make his second film with actors Rajinikanth or Vijay in Tami, but with the busy schedules of the top stars, Cibi Chakaravarthy's second film did not materialize, and now he is said to have approached the Tollywood star for his second film.
Meanwhile, Nani is currently shooting for his Telugu film titled 'Hi Nanna, which is directed by debutant Shouryuv. The film stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead.
