It's official! Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' rakes in Rs 75 crores at the box office

Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' was released in theatres on July 14. The movie was critically acclaimed and it is performing well at the box office. Taking to social media on July 25, the movie makers made an official announcement that the movie has grossed more than Rs 75 crore at the box office. The film has received a lot of positive response and it is likely that the movie will run well even after the second weekend of its release.
Sharing a poster that the film has made Rs 75 crore, the movie makers said, ""Our Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu have grossed over 75 crores in worldwide collections. Thanks to the wonderful fans and audience for making it a blockbuster hit." The film is soon expected to gross Rs 100 crore by the end of the month.
Directed by Madonne Ashwin, 'Maaveeran' is a fantasy action drama starring Sivakarthikeyan, Aditi Shankar, Mysskin and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by Bharath Shankar. The film has Sivakarthikeyan playing the role of a cartoonist in a newspaper and Aditi Shankar plays her role as a journalist. Mysskin plays the role of main antagonist as a politician.
