It’s raining film offers for Priya

We reported recently that Karthi and Pandiraj were teaming up for a project, which will have multiple leading ladies. There have been speculations about Priya Bhavani Shankar playing one of the roles. When contacted, the actress said, “I’m in talks with Pandiraj sir for the film which has Karthi in the lead. An official confirmation on the same will be announced in a week’s time.” The grapevine has it that Kodi fame Anupama Parameshwaran may play the other female lead, though the actress is yet to confirm it.
Priya, who is basking in the positive response to the recently released Meyaadha Maan, also reveals that she has been approached for Karu Palaniappan’s next project, which has Arulnithi essaying the protagonist’s role. “I’m likely to sign this film, too, though I can’t reveal more details about it, yet,” Priya adds. Titled Pugazhendhi Enum Naan, the film will have music by Imman.
