Jayaram and Urvashi to reunite for Pandiraj’s comedy after 20 years: 'Each take requires 15 retakes'

Actors Jayaram and Urvashi, who have been in the business for years, will be making a comeback to films after a long gap of nearly 20 years, sharing screen space as the legendary laughter pair of South India. Shooting is on, but the title is not announced yet," he said, adding that the film is full of lot of fun and comedy. "A lot of the time we are doing retakes as both of us end up laughing and he needs to wait for us to compose," revealed Jayaram, about the long hours taken to complete a shot. "Each take requires 10-15 retakes. We laugh in between shots and Pandiraj sir waits for us both to settle down before he says take 1," he explained. Jayaram and Urvashi's legendary pair remains evergreen. With films like 'Chakkikotha Chankaran', 'Kadinjool Kalyanam’ and even the Tamil blockbuster ‘Panchatanthiram’, they have maintained their status as a pair that brims with charm and of course, an undeniable chemistry.
