The makers of Jiiva-starrer
Seeru
, directed by Rathina Shiva, had earlier announced that the action flick would hit screens on December 6. The crew has now come up with another announcement, that the film is postponed by a couple of weeks - it will be releasing only on December 20. Riya Suman makes her Tamil debut with this film which has music by Imman and action choreography by Ganesh.
Navdeep, Varun and Sathish among others will be seen essaying crucial roles in the movie, the shooting of which was wrapped up quite some time ago. According to the makers, Seeru is an actoin film with ample elements of family emotions, which involves a 'sister sentiment' angle, too.
Navdeep, who portrays the role of a lawyer, is the antagonist of the film, which was shot in Chennai, Kumbakonam and Mayavaram. Varun's character, that of a rowdy, too, has negative shades. As per the makers, Seeru has four fight sequences and one chase scene.
