Kalki Koechlin recently became a mother to a girl child and since then she has been singing lullabies to make her baby sleep. The latest song she sang is a Tamil lullaby while playing the ukulele and the video of the same has gone viral on the internet. She posted a video of the same and said that she had adapted the original due to the lack of her musical experience.

She wrote on her social networking page, “Kani Kanmani Adapted from the original to accommodate my lack of musical experience🙈, but this Tamil lullaby is a great one to get her in sleep mode😴.” The rendition has won praises from many.

Kalki has sung lullabies in Portuguese, Bengali, French and has been sharing the same on her Instagram page. Kalki and her boyfriend Guy Hershberg welcomed their baby girl earlier this year in February. The child has been named after the famous Greek poet, Sappho. Kalki was seen in Tamil in a rap number in Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai.
