Karthi is now simultaneously shooting for ‘Viruman’ and ‘Sardar’. Soon after his schedule for these two films is done, the actor will reportedly start working for the yet to be titled film which is directed by Raju Murugan.
Raju Murugan previously directed ‘Joker’ and ‘Gypsy’.
It was earlier reported in 2020, that Karthi will be joining hands with Raju Murugan. According to reports,
Vijay Sethupathi has also been approached by the movie crew to play the role of the antagonist in this new movie against Karthi. Reports suggest that, after shooting for ‘Viruman’ and ‘Sardar’, Karthi’s next with Raju Murugan is expected to go on floors in May. It is also suspected that the official announcement on the cast and crew of the movie will be made in April.
This yet to be titled new movie is said to be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Meanwhile, Karthi will soon be seen in
Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘
Ponniyin Selvan
’ which is said to be released on September 30 in theatres worldwide.
