Karu Palaniapan back to direction after 8 years with Andavar

Director Karu Palaniapan, who is known for his film like 'Parthiban Kanavu', 'Pirivom Santhippom' and 'Mandhira Punnagai' among a few others, is back to direction after 8 long years. He had last directed Parthiban, Vimal, Vidharth, Poorna and Manisha Yadav starrer 'Jannal Oram' in 2013, after which he became popular though hosting a talk show on a popular Tamil television channel.
Now, the acclaimed director is all set begin work on his next film as a director. He will be helming the project titled 'Andavar', which is being produced by Ravindar of Libra Productions. The cast of the film is expected to be announced soon.


While music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing music for the film, the technical team consists of R Valraj handling the cinematography with Praveen KL incharge of the editing.
