'KH 234' to go on floors in September 2023; story yet to be finalised

A couple of days back, on November 6 it was officially announced that Kamal Haasan will be joining hands with Mani Ratnam for his upcoming film. The movie makers announced that the tentatively titled ‘KH 234’ will be directed by Mani Ratnam starring Kamal as the lead. The duo will be joining hands again after a gap of 35 years, they last worked together for ‘Nayagan’.
The film ‘KH 234’ will be produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam and Udhayanidhi Stalin together.In a recent media interview, Udhayanidhi Stalin reportedly revealed that the work for the film will only begin next year. He said that the project will go on floors in August or September 2023. He also reportedly stated that the story is yet to be fixed and only the plot with three lines has been set.
On the work front, Udhayanidhi Stalin is awaiting the release of his filmS ‘Maamanan’, ‘Magizh Thirumeni’ and ‘Kalaga Thalaivan’ whereas Mani Ratnam is busy with the work of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’.
Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for his film ‘Indian 2’ with director Shankar and it is likely that the film will be wrapped up at the end of this month.
