Live orchestra in Suzhal

In this age when music is often recorded digitally, the team behind the upcoming Suzhalhas done the opposite.
The film���s music director L V Ganesan, who is the son of late violin maestro L Vaidyanathan (who was the composer for Kamal Haasan���s silent movie Pesum Padam), has composed both the songs and background score for the movie entirely with live instruments! Says Ganesan, ���Despite Suzhal being a small budget film, we have used almost 80 musicians for the songs and re-recording.���
The film revolves around an investigative officer and a youngster, who unwittingly is pulled into the abyss of crime.Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni plays the cop in this film, directed by debutant R Jayakumar. He is from a theatre background and has worked on scores of TV commercials and with many noted names in the film industry including editor B Lenin.
