'Maattrraan' and 'Duplicate' set to soar high

'Maattrraan' is one of the biggest films of 2012, with Suriya and Kajal Aggarwaral in the lead. The film is directed by K V Anand, who did 'Ayan' with the actor before. It is also learnt that the film is titled 'Duplicate' in Andhra, where Suriya has a good market as well.
The movie, produced by AGS Entertainment, has music by Harris Jayaraj. The music composer has scored for the filmmaker���s latest hit Ko, which had superhit numbers like Ennamo Edho and Amali Thumali.
The Telugu rights of the film has been sold for a record high, it looks like. There���s a lot of big bucks riding on 'Duplicate' in Andhra, our sources say.
When we had earlier asked Suriya about the film, he said that ���it���s very different from anything that he���d done before.���
'Maattrraan' is said to be a thriller that will showcase the locales of different countries in the world. For this reason, the crew involved in a lot of travelling abroad on schedules and have said to have put in a lot of hard work to get the act right.
Russia features as a major highlight of the movie and the cast and crew have shot portions of the film there.
