The Chennai City Police have begun an investigation into complaints filed against popular chef and actor Madhampatty Rangaraj. According to News 18, the complaint was filed by popular fashion designer Joy Crizildaa, who alleged that Madhampatty Rangaraj did not divorce his first wife, concealed his marital status, and forced her to have multiple abortions. This complaint has been registered at the Chennai Police Commissioner's Office and forwarded to the Crimes Against Women and Children Prevention Unit.
Police summons Joy Crizildaa for a six-hour interrogation
As per the orders of the Police Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Vanitha summoned Joy Crizildaa to appear in person on September 22. The interrogation took place for about six hours at the office in the Thousand Lights Division. Joy Crizildaa was asked thousands of questions about her relationship with Madhampatty Rangaraj, the weddings she said took place in a temple, medical records related to abortions, and photos posted on social media.
Joy Crizildaa tells reporters she will seek justice
Joy Crizildaa, who met with reporters after the investigation, said that she would demand justice for her child even though she was pregnant and that Madhampatty Rangaraj had left her. She said that she was also stressed due to the defamation spread on social media. She stressed that she will fight resolutely to get justice for herself and her unborn child.
According to police sources, the investigation is still in its early stages.
They said that relevant documents and evidence will be collected and legal action will be taken. Due to Madhampatty Rangaraj's popularity and the sudden severity of the complaint, the issue has caught the attention of fans and the public.
