Director Bala is one of the well-known directors in Tamil cinema, and the National Award-winning director prefers to do unique films. Bala is next working on 'Vanangaan' featuring Arun Vijay in the lead role, and the film is ready to hit the big screens. Meanwhile, a case against Bala's 'Vanangaan' was filed at the Madras High Court, and the petitioner S. Saravanan demanded that director Bala and producer Suresh Kamatshi should not use the title 'Vanangan' for their film. Following this, the Hon'ble Judge Velmurugan heard the arguments of both sides and dismissed the petition filed by S. Saravanan and ordered. He has also ruled that director Bala and producer Suresh Kamakshi have no objection to using the title Vanagan for their film. Advocate Vijayan Subramanian presented arguments on behalf of director Bala and Suresh Kamatshi.

This court verdict has given more excitement and happiness to the team of 'Vanangan' who are progressing toward the release after overcoming many hurdles. 'Vanangaan' is likely to be released in theaters this August, and the film's official release date is expected to be made soon.

'Vanangaan' features Arun Vijay and Roshini Prakash in the lead roles with Samuthirakani, Mysskin, Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, and Aruldas in key roles. GV Prakash Kumar scored the music, while the cinematography and editing were done respectively by Gurudev and Sathish Suriya. The recent trailer of 'Vanangaan' increased the buzz, and the film's pre-release business is underway.
