Maha crew pays homage to the deceased technicians

Many from Kollywood fraternity and other industries took to social media to express their shock and grief about the accident, which left three people died and a few injured, on the set of Shankar’s Indian 2. Actors like Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh, who are part of the much-expected project too, expressed their disappointment over the same. Kamal Haasan expressed a sum of one crore to three deceased people and had tweeted about his feelings on Wednesday late night.Meanwhile, the crew of debutant UR Jameel’s Maha showed solidarity through observing a few minutes of silence during production.
Actor-turned-director Srinath took to Twitter to post the same. His tweet read, “இந்தியன் 2 படப்பிடிப்புத் தளத்தில் நடந்த துயரத்துக்கு காக மஹா படப்பிடிப்புத் தளத்தில் மௌன அஞ்சலி.” Jameel was also seen in the photo he shared along with Baby Manasvi. It's been a while since Srinath has appeared in films. He was last seen in Kaaviyyan. Maha, which stars Simbu and Hansika in lead roles, marks the latter’s 50th film. The movie, the shooting of which is almost complete, is expected to hit the screens this summer.
