Mahendran makes a comeback

He has delivered some of the most impressive films in the history of Tamil cinema, including Uthiri Pookal and Mullum Malarum. The latest we hear is that the veteran director is all set to make a comeback, after a long period of hibernation.
Sources say that director Mahendran has just compiled a script, through which he wants to direct Sathyaraj. Meanwhile, a leading production company has also expressed interest in the project and is also funding for the same.GV Prakash we hear is likely to score the music for the film. Sathyaraj is currently working on his 200th film, with director Manivannan, which is a sequel to his hit film, Amaidhi Padai. GV Prakash is currently busy composing for six upcoming albums- Udhayam NH4, Raja Rani and Thalaivaa.
