The makers of 'Vaazhai' celebrated the film's success and they interacted with the media and expressed the team's happiness over the film. During the interaction, Mari Selvaraj confirmed that he plans to do a sequel to 'Vaazhai'. 'Vaazhai' will happen for sure assured Mari Selvaraj, and he added that he will take the flick with the Sivanaindha character. According to Mari Selvaraj, there is one more hard-hitting story behind the 'Vaazhai' film, and it will make the audience understand the director more. Mari Selvaraj added that he has several stories to do, and promised to impress the audience more through his upcoming films.
Nikhila Vimal, who played an important role as a teacher in 'Vaazhai', shared the fondness for her character in Mari Selvaraj's directorial, and said that she enjoyed doing Poonkodi teacher than Alagiya Laila in 'Gurvayoor Ambalanadaiyil'. She also expressed her happiness in being part of 'Vaazhai' loosely inspired by the life story of Mari Selvaraj and praised the director's efforts.
'Vaazhai' makers presented a photo frame to the cast and crew to take their memories about the film for long.
