Meena on the death of her husband Vidya Sagar

A few days ago, actress Meena lost her husband Vidya Sagar who was suffering from a lung infection. Vidyasagar, who was undergoing the treatment at a private hospital in Chennai breathed his last yesterday at 7 pm on June 27, 2022. While everyone from the film fraternity and her fans have been offering their condolences to the yesteryear heroine, actress Meena has thanked everyone who helped and stood with her family.The 'Annaatthe' actress has also requested to media to not broacast any false information regarding her husband's demise. Taking to Twitter, actress Meena posted, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of my loving husband Vidya Sagar. I sincerely request all media to respect our privacy and sympathise this situation. Please stop further broadcast of any false information on this matter." (sic)"During these difficult times, I want to express my gratitude to all those good hearts who helped and stood with our family. I would like to thank all the Medical Team who tried their best, our Chief Minister, Health Minister, Radhakrishnan IAS, Colleagues, Friends, Family, Media & My loving fans for sending love and prayers," she added. (sic) Vidyasagar was 48 years old and had earlier been infected with corona and recovered from the disease. Later, at the end of March 2022, it was reported that he had contracted a lung infection, therefore he was admitted to the hospital, and gradually his condition deteriorated.
