Meera Jasmine: I took a break for a few years to work on my personal development

Meera Jasmine, who is known for her spunky role in Sandakozhi, is returning to Tamil cinemas after almost nine years with the sports drama Test, which also stars Madhavan, Siddharth and Nayanthara.
ON HER COMEBACK FILM
It is a fantastic feeling to work with Madhavan and Siddharth for a nice film like Test after having worked with them in the past. The movie is being directed by Sashikanth (the producer behind acclaimed films like Tamizh Padam, Irudhi Suttru and Vikram Vedha), and when he told me about the project, I was immediately on board.I have to congratulate Sashi for bringing another level of professionalism to the set.
I have worked with Madhavan in Run and Ayitha Ezhuthu. It is amazing that even though time has passed, it just feels like old times even now. It is also an absolute honour to be working with Siddharth, who was also part of Ayitha Ezhuthu, and I’m really excited to be working with Nayanthara.
‘I DECIDED TO TAKE A BREAK IN BETWEEN’
All I can say is that it has been a fantastic journey so far. While it was a great honour to be a celebrated actress, I decided to take a break in between for a few years to work on my personal development. I’ve been working on a few films lately and I feel like my journey is just starting as there is a lot that I have to explore and deliver.

I feel really humbled and delighted that my fans react to my social media posts in a positive way and these posts are a genuine reflection of how I feel when I travel to different places around the world and it gives me a great opportunity to share them with my followers.
