Mugil: Lights on, please!

Thefilmmaker has been getting rave reviews for the film, especially for thelocations in which he has shot the movie.Mugil says, ���������We have filmed in several interesting locales, the Tanjore Brihadeeswarar Temple. However, a place that caught the fancy of many was one near Kuala Lumpur. It stretches for about 20 acres and is rife with lighting structures. From the trees to the birds and animals, all of them were made from electrical lights. Our cinematographer, Prashant Misale was informed about this place by his friend and he recommended it to us. He said it���������s a virgin locationand Kandaen would be the first film to be shot there. We saw the location at 3am and were very impressed. We got permission from the authorities to shoot forthree days and canned the song, Engey En Idhayam, for which lyrics have beenwritten by Thamarai.
