My film will define purist love, says Selva

For Selvaragahavan, translating the script of his Irandam Ulagam from paper to thescreen has been a Herculean task. ���I���d approached several producers, but they told me itwill be too difficult to make a film out of the script and that I should, at best, be happy that I was able to pen something like that. But now, I���m happy that my producers believed in my vision,��� begins Selva.
So, how satisfied is he with the film���s final output? ���A filmmaker will never be satisfied. If we can make a film that justifies at least 70 per cent of our original imagination, that���s quite an achievement.��� Talking about Irandam Ulagam, he says, ���It���s a mystical film.My earlier films dwelt on realistic love, and with this one, I���m moving on to a new realm ��� purist love. The audience can expect the definition of true love in this film.���
Selva says the film���s lead star cast, Arya and Anushka, had given him full support while shooting. ���We had to film in remote locations and in extreme climatic conditions. Arya is a filmmaker���s delight. I told him that to develop six-packs and that I would count it on his stomach every day. He gave up non-veg food, didn���t drink a drop of water during filming! Anushka will surprise everyone in this film,��� he signs off.
