RJ-turned-actor Balaji is on cloud nine. It was like a dream come true for the Naanum Rowdy Dhaan actor when he was signed on for Mani Ratnam���s upcoming film with Karthi. He posted a picture with the Roja director on his social networking page, and wrote, ���And this did happen for real. Grew up watching his films n now to be part of a Maniratnam Film.Feels like a dream!��� (sic)
When contacted, the delighted actor said, ���My mother took me to watch Thalapathi on the first day. Guna and Chinna Gounder had also released on the same day and I watched all three films back-to-back. I have grown up watching Mani Ratnam sir���s films and as an RJ, I have always wanted to ask him a lot of questions. So, I am glad I have got this opportunity. Initially, the meeting with him started off on a nervous note, but he put me at ease, and it became casual after that. I will be going to Ooty soon to start shooting for the film,��� shares Balaji.
