Nayanthara's 'Oxygen' likely to skip a theatrical release

The female-centric movie titled ‘Oxygen’ starring Nayanthara in the lead role which is directed by debutant GK Viknesh, a former associate of director Venkat Prabhu might skip releasing in theatres, and it will directly be released on OTT, suggests a report.

The female-centric movie titled ‘Oxygen’ starring Nayanthara in the lead role which is directed by debutant GK Viknesh, a former associate of director Venkat Prabhu might skip releasing in theatres, and it will directly be released on OTT, suggests a report.
The movie produced by Dream Warrior Pictures will directly be released on OTT. It is alleged that a famous OTT platform has approached the moviemakers, but an official deal is yet to be made.
It was earlier reported that the shooting for the movie was completed and the film is currently working on its post-production.

The movie while starting the filming had not landed upon the title and it was only a couple of weeks ago that the movie makers stated that it will be named ‘Oxygen’ and it is highly expected that the first look of the movie will be released soon.

Nayanthara meanwhile has completed her dubbing for ‘Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal’ which features Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Nayanthara in the lead roles. She has a list of exciting projects that are lined up; to name a few – ‘Lion’, ‘Godfather’, ‘Gold’, ‘Connect’.
