Nithya Menen shares BTS pictures from the National Award ceremony

Nithya Menen bagged the first-ever National Award for her role in 'Thiruchitrambalam'. Nithya Menen received the prestigious award from President Draupadi Murmu at the 70th National Award ceremony that happened on October 8. Now, Nithya Menen shared some behind-the-scenes moments from the October 8 ceremony in Delhi. She was honored alongside Manasi Parekh, who also received the award for her performance in Kutch Express. Nithya posted pictures with Manasi Parekh, Karan Johar, and Rishab Shetty, captioning, "Some pictures from the National Award ceremony I have thanks to @manasi_parekh."

It is worth mentioning that Nithya Menen earlier expressed her gratitude to President Droupadi Murmu, thanking her and the Government of India for the recognition. "Thank you, Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Thank you to the Government of India for this honor and all members of the jury for seeing in me a deserving candidate," she wrote.
Earlier, Nithya Menen credited her National Award win to her deep understanding of her character and natural performance. Thrilled to receive the honor for the first time, she sees it as an official recognition of her work so far. Acknowledging the importance of awards for any artist, she dedicated the National Award to the entire 'Thiruchitrambalam' crew. Nithya Menen also confirmed reuniting with her 'Thiruchitrambalam' co-star Dhanush for the second time in the actor's fourth directorial, 'Idly Kadai'. She expressed her happiness at reuniting with Dhanush and assured fans that her role in the upcoming film will be a fresh one.
