Now, a comic book on Gautham Karthik’s character in his film

It’s happened in Hollywood before. And in India, Rajinikanth’s Muthu, Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One and Prabhas’s Bãhubali are among the few films that have done it, too. And now, Kala Prabu’s Indrajith joins the league. Yes, the makers of the action adventure have come out with a comic book based on the hero Gautam Karthik’s character in the film.
Prabu says, “The comic book has been conceptualised by Vijay, a former assistant director who has now turned author, and is based on the character Indrajith that Gautham plays in my film.We will be launching it in the city soon — we will be organising an adventure game for kids and towards the end, have the winners launch the book. The comic features a story that’s different from the film. Depending on its reach, we are planning to release more books in the future.”
