Now, Sankarabharanam in Tamil

One of the greatest Indian films of all time, Sankarabharanam, directed by K Viswanath, is to be released in Tamil next month. The film, which bagged four National Awards, has music composed by KV Mahadevan and cinematography by Balu Mahendra.
A source in the know says, ���The film, which was released in 1979, is being dubbed in Tamil. It will be released next month after almost 35 years after it first hit screens.Work on the Tamil version of the film has been going on for almost a year now. The film has been colour corrected. Also, several advanced techniques have been used to improvise. Even the re-recording has been done again with the same notes.���
Interestingly, SP Balasubramaniam, who had sung all the songs in the film, had won a National Award for this film.
