The combo of Parthiban and
Vadivelu is quite a popular one in Tamil cinema. The duo came together for the first time in Cheran's debut film, 'Bharathi Kannamma'. Their Kundakka Mandakka comedy in the film worked out big time, and Cheran cast them once again in his 'Vetri Kodikattu'. In the film, the comedy track involving the two actors became a huge hit with audiences.
Soon, they worked together in films like 'Kaakai Chirakiniley' and 'Kadhal Kirukkan', which were also received well.
Now, actor Parthiban has revealed that he will be working together with Vadivelu soon. In an interview to a Tamil magazine, the actor has said, "Six months ago, a producer from the US wanted to make a film with us, and even gave us the advance for it. However, since director
Shankar had complained to the Tamil Film Producers Council against Vadivelu (regarding the actor not turning up for the shoot of 'Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi'), and they are still trying to resolve the issue between them. Once that issue is resolved, we will start our film very soon after that."
