Ram Charan is currently gearing up for the release of the sports action drama film, ‘Peddi’, recently he congratulated actor-turned-politician Vijay on becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He spoke about Vijay during an event while promoting his upcoming film.

Ram Charan praises Vijay’s decision

Speaking at the event, Ram Charan said Vijay made a big decision by stepping away from his successful film career and entering public service. He added that it takes courage to leave a position of great popularity and choose a new path focused on serving the people.“You have left your stardom and career at your peak to come into public service. From being a film industry person, I'm very very proud, and I congratulate Tamil Nadu people and Vijay sir,” he said.For the event, Ram Charan was seen wearing a blue suit styled with a white shirt and brown shoes. He can be seen keeping his hair tied in a bun and donning a pair of sunglasses.

Ram Charan’s message after Vijay’s election win

Earlier, Ram Charan congratulated Vijay as he shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) after the election result. In his post, he wrote, “Hearty congratulations to @actorvijay Garu on a remarkable victory in the TN elections. Your vision and connect with the people have truly resonated.
Wishing you great success in leading Tamil Nadu towards continued progress.”

About ‘Peddi’

Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’, the film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, which is a sports action drama. In the movie, Ram Charan is seen in multiple sporting avatars as he plays cricket, wrestles, and also takes part in professional sprinting, making him a “crossover athlete.”The film features Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu among others in important roles.Meanwhile, Vijay’s last film remains his unreleased movie ‘Jana Nayagan’, which is expected to hit the theatres. However, no official announcements have been made.
