Photo: Actor Shirish meets Kamal Haasan on his birthday

Actor Shirish, who shot to fame after acting in the 2016 thriller ‘Metro’, met ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan on Thursday. Apparently, Shirish wanted to take blessings from the ‘Vishwaroopam’ star on his birthday.
Sharing the picture with Kamal Haasan on Twitter, Shirish wrote, “So glad to have met the encyclopedia of Cinema, @ikamalhaasan sir today and to have got his blessings for my birthday and my future projects.”
‘Metro’, directed by Ananda Krishnan, received good reviews when it released.The film became a decent success at the box-office which was later dubbed in Telugu under the same name.
Shirish currently awaits the release of ‘Raja Ranguski’, which is being directed by Dharani Dharan of ‘Burma’ fame. Jointly produced by Vasan Productions and Burma Talkies, the film has actors Chandini Tamilarasan, Jayakumar, Kalloori Vinoth and Sathya in supporting roles. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored for the film, which is expected to release later this year.
